Gregory Oussani 

After graduating from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Finance, Gregory went to work at his family’s manufacturing business, The Staplex Company, where he developed new product lines and markets. He holds several patents for innovations in stapling, mail opening and wafer seal applicating equipment. Since 1994, he has served as trustee of the Church of the Virgin Mary Melkite Catholic Church in Brooklyn. He has previously served the Melkite Eparchy as founder of the Ambassadors Young Adult Organization and later as co-chairman of the Melkite Diocesan Pastoral Council and chairman of the Order of St. Nicholas, the charitable arm of the Melkite Eparchy in the United States.

Through the years he has been involved in many pro-life activities. Since 2007 he has been Chairman of the Friends of the Sisters of Life, a religious Order founded by the late John Cardinal O’Conner in 1991, is a member of the Sisters of Life Guild, an active Co-Worker of Life and was a vice chairman of the Sisters of Life Motherhouse project. He was the 2013 “Child of Summer” honoree for Pregnancy Help Inc. In 2014 he was the recipient of Good Counsel Homes “Fr. Benedict Groeschel Award” and chaired the first National Gianna Center Dinner Gala in NYC.

Gregory is a Knight Grand Cross of the Order of Holy Sepulchre since 2001 and a Knight of Malta since 2004. He has participated as a volunteer on 12 pilgrimages to Lourdes, France with the Order of Malta and is coordinator of pro-life activities for the Order’s New York City area. He is a member of Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio’s Court of Honor, is a board member and treasurer of the Patrons of the Arts in the Vatican Museums New York Chapter and assists the Holy See Mission to the United Nations through the Path to Peace Foundation, for which he chaired its 2011 Dinner Gala. Gregory has served on the annual Ball for Life committee for Good Counsel Homes for the past decade, has been a member of The Human Life Foundation “Great Defender of Life” annual dinner committee for many years and was recently on the Relevant Radio New York City area “Christ Brings Hope” awards dinner committee. He is an employer of expectant and new mothers and fathers through the Sisters of Life and Good Counsel Homes.
