With nearly 37 years of experience in the health care industry, including 25 years in senior management, Mr. Joseph Loiacono is a seasoned, solutions-driven professional who possesses an in-depth knowledge of government, business development, physician relations, hospital operations and strategic planning. In addition to having a strong clinical foundation, Mr. Loiacono has a proven track record of outstanding accomplishment in a highly competitive and complex heath care market.
His professional experience is impressive. Currently, he is Senior Vice President for Planning and Business Development with Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center/Catholic Health Services of Long Island (CHS), a position he has held since August of 2017. He was formerly Chief Operating Officer at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center and Vice President for Program and Development for CHS.
Before joining CHS, Mr. Loiacono held senior management positions with Memorial Sloan Kettering.
Mr. Loiacono has served on the Board of Directors for The Long Island Health Network and The Tri Community and Youth Agency in Huntington, New York.
Long Island University awarded Mr. Loiacono his BS in Respiratory Therapy in 1981. Mr. Loiacono also earned an MBA with specialization in Strategic Management from Pace University in 1996.
